Emirates sets new record with over 1 million Wi-Fi connections on board in March

Aviation giant Emirates Airlines on Wednesday said it has set another record with more than 1 million Wi-Fi connections made on load onto its flights in March alone.

The Wi-Fi connections were mostly made over cell phones with more than 94% of clients interfacing with a cell phone – twice the same number of Wi-Fi connections were made on an iOS cell phone when contrasted with an Android versatile, and around 2% with a tablet, Emirates said in an announcement.
