This year marks Italian sports car maker Maserati’s hundredth year, and as well as ongoing celebrations the company has unveiled two Centennial models in the GranTurismo range. On show this week at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Centennial each receive a host of special features to differentiate them from ‘regular’ versions.
The new package is based on the regular 2014 Maserati GranTurismo MC coupe and the GranCabrio MC convertible, both of which use a 454-hp, 4.7-liter V-8 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, giving the cars a top speed of 185 mph.
For red cars, the interior benefits from black leather; red, white, and blue stitching; carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard; and a special doorsill plate with the Maserati centenary logo. The blue cars receive white leather with blue stitching.
The 2014 Maserati GranTurismo MC coupe and the GranCabrio MC convertible go on sale this July. Pricing will be announced closer to that date.
